Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger

Locally unstable conditions. A skier or a snow mobile may trigger avalanches in the fresh wind slabs. Where there is less new snow there is a slick crust can which can make travel in steep terrain dangerous.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Sunday 24. March 2024

3 mm precipitation, up to 12 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Fresh breeze from northeast, changing to breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -12 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l.

Oppdatert kl.09. Litt nedbør vil danne nysnøflak på utsatte steder i dag. Flakene vil stort sett bli små, men de vil være lette å løse ut mens været står på. Typisk i konvekse leformasjoner som innganger til renner.

Der hvor det er mindre nysnø er reel fare for utglidning, utvis varsomhet i bratt terreng.
